About this layout
The common one-bedroom layout: the living room and kitchen share the larger half of the flat, and the bedroom and bathroom share the other half. The kitchen runs along the window wall so the person cooking gets daylight.
The bedroom fits a 160 cm double bed with a bedside table on each side and a 200 cm wardrobe on the opposite wall, leaving a clear path from the door.
Before you copy it
- Leave at least 60 cm beside a bed to get in and make it, and about 90 cm in front of a wardrobe to open the doors.
- If the bathroom has no window you will need mechanical ventilation; building rules vary by country.
