Draw your floor plan in minutes
Draw the walls and Roomdraft finds the rooms and their areas. Furnish them with pieces at real sizes, check that everything fits, then share a true-scale PDF or look at it in 3D.
How it works

1.Draw your rooms
Click from corner to corner, or type a length like 350 and press Enter. Rooms and their floor areas appear as soon as the walls close.

2.Add doors and furniture
Place doors and windows, then drag furniture from the library. Pieces turn to face the room and warn you when they block a door.

3.Share it
Export a true-scale PDF for a builder, download quantities as CSV, or switch to 3D to see the space.
Everything you need for a real plan
Exact measurements
Type wall lengths, click any dimension to change it, resize rooms from the side panel. Areas are measured inside the walls.
Rooms found for you
Close the walls and the room appears with a name, a type and its floor area. Rooms inside rooms are subtracted.
Furniture at real sizes
Sofas, beds, kitchens, bathrooms and offices at their usual sizes, or type your own. Overlaps and blocked doors are marked.
Trace an existing plan
Put a photo or scan of a plan under the drawing, set its scale from one known length and draw over it.
Builder-ready output
True-scale PDF at 1:50 or 1:100 with a room schedule, plus paintable wall area, skirting and opening counts.

Questions
Is Roomdraft free?
Yes. Drawing, furniture, exports and 3D are free, with no account and no trial period.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in a modern browser on a computer, tablet or phone. You can install it as an app from the browser if you like, and it works offline after the first visit.
Where are my plans saved?
In your browser, as you work ("My plans"). You can also save each plan as a file and open it again later or on another computer.
Can I use it for a real renovation?
Yes — many people use it to plan a layout and talk to a builder. It does not replace a survey or professional advice; check measurements on site before ordering anything.
Does it support feet and inches?
Yes. Switch between metres, centimetres and feet and inches at any time.
