Plan a garden
Draw lawn, paving and beds, the plot border, fences, hedges and a gate, and turn the north arrow.
Steps
- Pick Draw walls, then choose Outdoor in the bar above the plan.
- Choose Area and a surface (lawn, paving, gravel, deck…), then click the corners. Click the first corner to finish.
- Choose Plot border to draw your boundary; type a length and press Enter for an exact side.
- Choose Fence, Hedge or Gate and click along the line. Click (or tap) the last point again to finish, or press Enter.
- Choose North arrow, click where it goes, and turn it in the panel on the right.
Good to know
- Areas snap to walls and to each other. Drag a corner to change an area's shape.
- Outdoor areas have their own total and do not count in the floor area.
- Trees, a shed, a pool and more are in the furniture library under Outdoor.
