Use exact sizes
Type a length while drawing, or click any dimension to give a wall a new length.
Steps
- While drawing a wall, type its length, for example 350, and press Enter. The wall ends exactly there.
- To change a wall later, click its length on the plan, type the new length and press Enter. Connected walls follow.
- For a rectangular room, select the room and type its width and depth on the right.
Good to know
- Lengths are in your display unit (350 in centimetres, 3.5 in metres); in feet and inches type 11'6".
- A length typed while drawing runs along the middle of the wall. Measured inside the room? Click the inside length afterwards and type it there.
- Areas are measured inside the walls, so they match what you measure with a tape.
