Draw walls

Click from corner to corner to draw walls; closing the shape makes a room.

Steps

  1. Pick Draw walls in the toolbar, or press W.
  2. Click where the first wall starts, then click each corner in turn.
  3. Click the first corner again to close the shape. The room and its floor area appear.
  4. Press Esc to stop drawing without closing the shape.

Good to know

  • Hold Shift to keep walls at 45° steps.
  • Choose the wall thickness (outer, inner or partition) in the bar above the plan before you draw.
