Trace over an existing plan
Put a photo or scan of a plan under the drawing, set its scale, and draw over it.
Steps
- Choose File → Trace over an image… and pick a photo, scan or screenshot.
- Click two points whose distance you know (a wall or a door) and type that length.
- Lower the opacity if you like, then draw the walls over the image.
Good to know
- The image is kept out of exports unless you choose to include it.
